About The 2017-18 Cast
ADRIANAdrian Vigil is from Virginia. He completed the Theatre Lab Honors Conservatory in 2013, and has acted in several plays throughout the area. You can see perform on Wednesdays with Community Sauna in Three's Comedy at Laugh Index Theatre. | ANTHONYAnthony Nogueira is originally from Queens, New York. Though he has been studying to become a therapist for a long, loooooong time (at least 10 years and counting), he also has a not-so-secret passion for performance. You can see him perform with Community Sauna on Wednesdays in Three's Comedy at Laugh Index Theatre. | DIANEDiane Cummings is a recovering lawyer eternally grateful to LIT for providing an escape from the reality of our times. She particularly enjoyed playing the Duchess of York in Mr. lifeguard's short play Crude's Rebellion last season and is now jumping into the deep end with Community Sauna this season. GIFFORDGifford Wong, originally from sunny California, earned a Ph.D. studying snow and ice. He has done fieldwork in Greenland & Antarctica, served in AmeriCorps, and co-developed and co-instructed a science communication course. He is currently an American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science and Technology Policy Fellow – a nerd’s nerd – working to bridge the gap between science and policy. He also thinks unicorns & helicopters are cool and performs with Community Sauna. | JEFFJeff Patyk has been living in D.C. for over ten years. He decided to try improv after listening to the Couch Party podcast from Dad's Garage Theater in Atlanta. Amber Nash and Lucky Yates made it sound like such fun he decided to give it a shot. The amazing teachers and people he encountered along the way got him completed hooked. When he isn't doing improv, he gladly takes orders from his cat, Kazoo. | JIMJim Baxley has had a long and undistinguished career, where he developed ninja-level skills in pensmanship, typewriter repair and haiku. LAURENTLaurent Amzallag was born in Casablanca, Morocco but grew up in Montreal, Canada. His love for comedy began at home growing up in a Jewish French-Moroccan family (there is no shortage of material.) After his big move to DC many years ago, Laurent began doing theatre, stand- up comedy, radio and television. He’s been working in the fitness field for the last 20 years and constantly uses humor in his TV appearances, and speaking engagements. | MANNYManuel A. McCoy Sr. made his theatre debut in July 2017. He played the roles of a Yoruba Priest and the Father in the stage play by Lynn Nottage; Fabulation or The Re-Education of Undine. Manuel has taken several acting classes over the past three years at the Theater Lab in D.C. Manuel retired from a 21-year career in the Air Force and graduated from National Louis University with a B.S. in Management. He performs with Community Sauna on Wednesdays at Three's Comedy. | NAEEMAHMiss Naeemah Raqib hails from the original chocolate city, Washington DC. She enjoys living life, family, friends, and laughter. Miss Naeemah is also known as Queen Naeemah. She treats all her royal subjects kindly. |
